Update!

Hey!
so long time no see!
In my time away many things have happened, 

1. I finally finalised my trip to America!! yay, Im going to Florida,Philadelphia and hopefully New York for a day. - Im actually so excited! you have no idea! Im going to visit family some of which I have never met! 
2. I was in a music video!! - Yep thats right!, ill explain more when it comes out.
3. I got a job! - well kind of, I'm working a kids club for two hours on the weekend, Im really glad that i have a way of earning money although its not much it nice to be able to pay for certain things with my own means.
4. I made an intsagram specifically for this blog! -not much on it at the moment but its getting there its thecharismaticprepster.
5. I am slowly but surely cleaning my room! - I know this is soooo not interesting but I just love it when I my room is clean and for the past 4 weeks its been an absolute mess!

So my best gal pal had a lovely afternoon tea together filled with cupcakes,macaroons and puppies!

My Weekly Wants

1. Dark mint Ghirardelli chocolate || Mint chocolate is my favourite but recently i have been craving it so bad! it just makes me so happy!

2. the Wes Anderson book || I absolutely love Wes Anderson films specifically The Royal Tenenbaums and this book is basically an insight on everything Wes, a HUGE want.

3. The pbteen Emily + Meritt Brass Bunny Table Lamp || this lamp is absolutely beautifully whimsical and if it was just a tad less pricy it would be in my possession. Maybe someday..

4. Daniel wellington watches || These watches are so beautiful and absolutely classic. I desperately need to replace my grey sport watch.

5. Keds || Im hopping on the sneaker trend which I adore and I found these fantastic nautical pair from Taylor swifts keds range.

6. Valentines day roses || so its that time of year again and love is in the air.. just not mine. It would be nice to have some handsome guy bring me roses but I'm just saying. I still LOVE a good ole "galantines day".

7. Jcrew excursion vests || Its sadly still boiling hot here in Australia but I'm dreaming of the day ill be able to wear this!

New Year, New Beginnings

Happy New year!!

So i know its a few days in but I thought better late than ever!


This year has not been my year and as the count down started I realised how ready I was to say goodbye. I was so un happy throughout half of 2013 and I want to leave all that heavy "baggage" behind. The more I focus on the bad stuff the the more I will forget the good so adios mopey and sluggish Charlotte and Bonjour cheerful and charismatic Charlotte!

To Highlight the good I made a list of 10 things  I am looking forward to in 2014.

1. Taking better care of myself.
Theres a part of me that always wants to be there for my friends and not let them down, I sometimes forget to tell myself that its ok not to always be there for them and that its ok to have some much needed "me" time.

2. Year 11
this year enter into my second last year of school.  Although this year will be hard, I look forward to the challenge. Although my classes are harder I am doing all classes that I enjoy and Im especially looking forward to my drama and screen acting classes.

3. Blogging more!
This year I really hope to expand this blog more and make it something to be proud of.
I really love having this as a place to explore and share my interests.

4.Reading
I really love reading but I often find myself with excuses why I don't have the time,meanwhile a basket in my closet has been piling high with books I intend to read. So this year I actually want to read them.

5. My first Job
I dont have one yet but I really want to hopefully get one this year. I love shopping but I really want to have the freedom to shop with my own hard earned money so that I can be proud of the things I buy not guilty. I want a job because I think its an all round wonderful experience to have. Ill meet new people and learn new things, whats better than that?

6. Friends new and old
This year I intend to strengthen my friendships and create new ones. Recently I have been a bit out of sink with my friends and I hope this year to rekindle what was. I also hope to meet new and make myself a little bit less sheltered.

7. OOTW
I want to initiate a new post on here that will hopefully make me more committed. Every week I will hopefully post an outfit of the week.  Heres hoping they will be some sort of stylish!

8.Mad Men!
I just very recently started watching mad men. Im hooked! this show has just enough of scandal, fashion and fabricated history to pull me in! Does anyone else desperately want to be friends with Sally Draper?

9. Singing
During the school year I go to singing lessons and each lesson is a highlight of my week. Singing calms me and makes me feel good. I usually try to sing songs which have lyrics that I can relate to. So this year Im excited to jump back on the band wagon and hit that stage!

10. Being Happy
I hope everyone wants this in their year, but for me its one of the most important, I want the majority of my year to be happy and enjoyable. I know thats naive but I would rather be naive than cynical.

I hope you all look forward to this year and welcome it with open arms.
